...but easier than I would have expected myself. It is probably a good idea to let potential clients see as much relevant information on you at first glance. Add work samples, get references from your former employers, put up your credentials, make sure you cover all the basics, even get identity verified. And be quick about applying for jobs that interest you. I've found that it often seems to be a matter of speed. One of these days the perfect job for you will come along and the client will find you suitable as well. Add a polite and direct, streamlined quote on the job and you have found your first customer. Do a great job and they will be happy to hire you again. That's my experience, anyway.
